About Me
My name is Mick Casey and I’m transgender man – (woman to man), I have a thing called “Gender Identity Disorder” – “G.I.D.”. From a young age I always what’d to be a boy and I always know that I was different to all the other girls but I don’t know that was a name for it or anything, I never even heard of the name Gender Identity Disorder or don’t even know what it meant. I suffer from depression and went into myself ‘coz I thought that nobody understood me what I went through, also I find it hard to cope with my disability and was feeling that I much prove myself all the time to people who had no faith and don’t believe in me at all but I have prove them people wrong. Since I went to Teni and heard other people talking about their own expertise – it was a great support to me.
